Steven Michels is associate provost and professor of political science at Sacred Heart University, in Fairfield, CT, where he’s been since 2002.

Born and raised in southeastern Michigan, which is a great place to be from, Steven has also lived, studied, and worked in Athens (GA), Chicago, New Haven, New York City, and New Haven again.

When he’s not on campus, Steven is probably listening to music and writing songs, following baseball and the Chicago Cubs, and cleaning up after his two energetic and mostly awesome cats, Teddy and Willa.
